Service Engineer (ENGLISH)

One moment you're retrofitting an advanced tube cutting machine in Norway and a month later you're training employees in Saudi Arabia on how to use our PCL on a shipyard. You discuss your job with the account manager responsible for the customer in advance. In the event of a malfunction, you work together with your Technical Support colleagues to think up a solution. On site at the customer's premises, you carry out maintenance or troubleshooting and advise the customer on how best to ensure the productivity of their machine.

The department

Our Customer Support department is divided into the disciplines of account management and Technical Support. Everyone brings their own knowledge and experience and together we provide all support to our customers. We know our customers and their machines inside out and are the first point of contact for the customer. As a Service Engineer, you have the most challenging job in all the dynamics of our department. You provide all service on our machines and this ranges from carrying out a maintenance visit, giving training to the customer to solving acute malfunctions. You give the customer the feeling that they are being heard and the confidence that you will solve it. You use your creativity and technical knowledge to get the machine up and running again quickly. When you're done, you write a report, brief the customer and leave them with peace of mind. You are flexible and enjoy change and technical challenges. You travel a lot from job to job, which is well organized from the office. For questions, you are supported by our Technical Support. Together we form one team and get the job done for the customer.

What we are looking for:

You have an MBO education in the direction of Technology; You can express yourself well in Dutch and English (both written and spoken); You are eager to learn and interested in learning our machines and our own software applications; You strive to deliver the best possible service. You have a number of years of relevant (international) experience as a Commissioning Engineer, Service Engineer or Machine Builder. You are willing to work abroad.
